Hannah is now 9 years old and has mothered Sam from the day he was born. They have a very special relationship, she is quite happy to get him up in the morning, change nappies and feed him, she understands his needs and knows how to comfort him when he cries. She is doing well at school, plays the piano, enjoys gymnastics and Brownies, she is a little girl with a big personality.
Emily is 4 1/2 years old and accepts her role as Sam's big sister, though she is much smaller physically. She starts school in September and enjoys going to ballet lessons. She has been welcome joy after the heartache, my baby memories are now all pleasant, she helped Sam to progress just by progressing herself. 

Tom is 11 years old, has a brain the size of a planet and is a future scientist. He has had epilepsy for the past 18 months, and insists that it doesn't bother him at all, in this way he really helps me deal with everything. He enjoys Karate, playing the piano and reading.
